God promised the Holy Spirit and fulfills His promise when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles. By God’s power through the Holy Spirit, this allowed them to speak various languages which amazed the crowds there. One the apostles, Peter, delivered a message about Christ to the Jews there who were convicted and responded with repentance. From that day, over 3,000 people came to believe in Jesus. And this started the first and early churches where all the believers gathered together to share and grow in Christ.
