How can people know and worship God? Christmas celebrates when the eternal Word came into the world, bringing life in Him. But even more so, Jesus came to truly show us who God is.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, but God’s work or plans with His Son began far, far before then. The Son of God has always existed and came to bring new life and light to the world.

Jesus is alive! He has risen.

Jesus is the true King and Son of God who came to fulfill God’s plan - by giving of His very body and suffering in the place of sinners, paying the penalty for sin. Through Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, God’s plan for salvation and grace is accomplished.

Jesus is the King that God had promised to the people of Israel… but instead of welcoming their true king and giving Him honor, the leaders and people of Israel rejected Him and handed Him over to be crucified.
